Public Safety is of the ultimate importance. Serving as Town Prosecutor, she prosecuted violation-level offenses, building code violations and vehicle and traffic infractions, treating those she prosecuted with fairness and respect while enforcing the law. Safe buildings, safe roads, safe communities and safe schools all make our community stronger.

Lisa Poch's experience speaks for itself. 16 years in private practice at an established and accomplished Hamburg law firm, Dan Chiacchia Attorneys. Multiple successful trial verdicts. Countless hours of practical courtroom experience. Serving the Town of Hamburg as both its Prosecutor and Attorney. In these roles, she interacted regularly with various Town departments and developed a great working relationship with the court staff, police department, dispatch office, code enforcement and others who interface with the Court, always displaying preparedness, professionalism, integrity and respectfulness. Lisa Poch is at home in the courtroom.

Lisa has a good handle on how the justice courts operate, as well as what processes can be streamlined and improved. It is frustrating seeing people waiting excessively in the lobby of Town Hall waiting for their case to be called. She will be respectful of people’s time and obligations, while looking at how we can make court operations more efficient such as analyzing the time we start court and staggering appearance times. Lisa knows firsthand what it means to try to balance a busy court calendar with the demands of both private practice and public sector work and will respect everyone’s time by always being prepared and taking the bench on time to ensure continued, smooth and efficient court operations.
